Righteousness Exalteth A Nation

No wonder the nation or nations are so deep in trouble today. They have, I think it safe to say, left the Bible where righteousness is revealed. Please give attention to the words of the inspired wise man Solomon.  “Righteousness  exalteth  a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Prov. 14:34).  We may want to have a separation between the church and the state, but God continues to rule, and has the final authority over both! He is still King of kings.  We read that God has ordered that “every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God.” (Rom.13:1). When this nation, or any nation of this world is characterized by justice, and endeavors to maintain the Bible way  of  righteousness, will find the blessings of God and the support of right thinking people. Please consider the following.

Prayer is a way of righteousness, and will lend to the exalting of our nation! We will not, however, be a praying nation if we keep passing laws that forbids prayers to be offered in public places. Which draws sharp protest if prayers are offered at ball games, school rooms, etc. God’s people should never help send a person to office who does not hold the conviction that prayer is needed and is that which helps exalt the nation.  If we follow the Bible we will be told “that men pray every where”. (1 Tim.2:8).

Bible truths or Scriptures is the way to righteousness, and it will exalt our nation! However, this like public praying, is a matter that our nation frowns upon. Have I not read some place that “All men are created equal?”  Yet, the very ones of the powers that be who uphold that statement, reject the very source from whence it  comes...THE  BIBLE! We must  return  to  the Bible; all  the  way,  even our  law  makers.  Then, and  only  then,  will we follow after righteousness, and only then will our nation be once again exalted!

Sin  is a reproach  to any  people.  The divorce  rate  of  this  nation  has become a noticeable  shame. Child abuse is a national embarrassment. We have become a nation of drug users.  Nakedness, pornography, and  a  total  disrespect for all authority shows the character of our nation. I believe it is time for us to be tired of the new freedom that throws the commandments of God out the window and does not know the difference between love and lusts.  It is time  for us to be  tired of these  little  professors  who enjoy brainwashing students  placed  before  them, and destroy their belief in the inspired word of God… The Bible.  I’m tired  hearing sin called sickness, that liars are only extroverts with a lively imagination, and that murderers are victims of a traumatic experience. Only the devil offers up sin, and it will destroy this nation, and all nations. Only God offers righteousness, and that will exalt the nation(s). May we forever follow the Book of books, the King of king, and the Lord of lords. Then we shall be exalted!
